Restore Benefit provided by Apollo Munich Optima Restore Health Insurance

The sum insured is reinstated after it has been exhausted before a policy year ends. This restoring of sum insured doesn’t not include any extra charges.

The sum insured will provide coverage for some other sickness or for another member in the family. It will not provide coverage for the same individual’s sickness or same member in the family.

For example:
If have purchased a 5lakhs plan and the entire amount has been exhausted, restore benefit will reinstate an additional 5lakhs amount which can be used up for a different sickness or for a different member covered under the family floater plan.

Multiplier Benefit provided by Apollo Munich Optima Restore Health Insurance

The benefit is provided for a claim-free year. If an insured has not made any claims in a policy year, a bonus called no claim bonus is given to the customer which is 50% of the sum insured. Again if the customer has made no claims in the following year, the sum insured amount becomes double the basic sum insured.

For example:
If you have a 3lakhs policy and has made no claims in the 1st year, the sum insured becomes 4.5lakhs for the second year. Again if you have made no claims in the 2nd year the basic sum insured will double i.e. the sum insured becomes 6lakhs. You will still be paying a premium for the 3lakhs plan.
